Medica Ranchi, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, has started BLS (Basic Life support) training in schools across Ranchi. In these sessions we train the teaching and non teaching staff of schools how to handle medical emergencies. An emergency can happen anywhere, anytime. When it occurs the person closest to the site of the emergency is the only support till a medical team arrives.
Children are prone to accidents leading to cuts, bruises and fractures. In schools,the responsibility of handling such situations falls on the staff. Medica has undertaken the responsibility of training the staff in handling such emergencies and in Basic Life Support to enable them to provide the initial first aid and necessary support till more professional help arrives.
